If you're new to the world of consultations, it can be hard to know what to expect. I've included a little information here to put your mind at rest, but if you have any other questions, please do get in touch.

Getting Know Each Other

This initial chat is a friendly and informal conversation designed to understand your unique needs and goals. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your experiences, and see if we’re the right fit for each other

Initial Consultation

Duration: 45 minutes

 

During our initial consultation, we’ll embark on a comprehensive journey to understand your health and lifestyle. Here’s what you can expect:

 

In-Depth Questionnaires
We'll start with thorough health and lifestyle questionnaires. If you’re dealing with an eating disorder, we’ll also include mental health assessments to gain a complete picture of your needs.

24-Hour Food and Drink Recall
You'll provide a detailed recall of everything you’ve consumed in the past 24 hours. I will analyze this using Nutritics software to identify any potential nutrient deficiencies.

Goal Setting
Together, we’ll establish your short, medium, and long-term health goals. We'll focus on setting one or two achievable short-term goals to implement immediately, ensuring you have a clear path forward.

Health Information
Please bring your latest blood results and blood pressure readings. If these aren’t available or if they were last done over six months ago, I can help you request them from your GP.

Ongoing Support
To maintain our connection and support your progress, I’ll ask you to send food diaries and photos of your daily meals via WhatsApp. This way, I can provide continuous feedback and guidance.

Follow-up Consultation

Duration: 20 to 30 minutes

 

In our follow-up sessions, we’ll focus on your progress and make any necessary adjustments to ensure you stay on track with your health plan. Here’s what you can expect:
 

Progress Review
We’ll assess how well you’ve been adhering to the plan and identify any areas that may need improvement. This helps us tailor your approach for better results.

Addressing Difficulties
If you’ve encountered any challenges, we’ll discuss them openly. I’ll teach you practical techniques to overcome these obstacles, empowering you to stay committed to your goals.

Nutritional Education
You’ll learn about the importance of various nutrients and vitamins, enhancing your understanding of how they contribute to your overall health. This knowledge will help you make informed choices.

Holistic Techniques
I employ a variety of techniques tailored to your individual needs. While the fundamentals remain consistent, I adapt my approach to ensure it resonates with you.

Ongoing Learning
To support your journey, I’ll provide you with articles and resources based on reputable scientific papers. This information will deepen your understanding and reinforce your commitment to your health.
